Mr Mark Parsons

Hogan Lovells

Mark Parsons is a Partner in Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong office. Mark's practice focuses on Asia-Pacific region data privacy and cyber security laws and regulations and is he recognized as a leading technology, media and telecommunications practitioner in Chambers Asia Pacific and Legal 500 Asia Pacific. Mark regularly speaks and writes on data protection and technology issues.

Mark is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales, as a barrister and solicitor in Ontario, Canada and as a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore. He is currently serving as a member of the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data's Standing Committee on Technological Developments.

In addition to holding a JD from the University of Toronto, Mark also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in engineering from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in computer simulation and process design.
